The boys were all ready for bed after several hours of birthday partying, but we geared up for another in just an hour of being home. But this wasn't just any birthday party. My friend Michelle surprised her husband and our friend Brian for his 40th birthday! It was priceless to see the sheer surprise on his face and even better the look on his face when they told him later that he, Kevin and another friend were going to Pinehurst for the weekend to go golfing! Michelle is a stellar decorator and hostess. I was amazed at her creativity in setting up in an Irish theme. She also had it catered, AND the selection of beer and wine was like no other party I have been to. I realized that I am not in college anymore (or ever), and I should serve a selection like this at our parties.
Now I just need to start planning the boy's birthday party, which is something I am honestly dreading.
The birthday boy Carter and his beautiful mommy Shana!
Carter and Jack. Jack SOOO did not want to be next to Sir Purr!
Our other best buddies were there. Grayson and Kaden! I like how Sir Purr is hiding Kaden's Dolphin's jersey. :)
Kevin and Tyler giggling about being in the cheerleader's locker room. Dreams do come true!!
In one of the many boxes we toured. They loved being up high and looking out the windows.
All of the kiddos listening intently on what the woman had to say about the locker rooms. Very interesting for them I'm sure.
Birthday Boy Brian and his beautiful wife Michelle!
Shanna and I and Shanna and her husband Dave!
