October Catch Up

As I tend to say every single month, the month of October blew right past us. It could have been the birthday parties, trip to Montana, and Halloween, but now it is the middle of November. We leave in 3 days to go see Kevin's parents for Thanksgiving! Where does the time go??!!!

Landon LOVES to be outside.

Grayson cracks me up wearing these glasses the entire time at the park.

My friend Shanna just had her 3rd baby!! Sophia is one of the most gorgeous newborns I have ever laid eyes on!!

I love this picture of Melissa. She also just had her 3rd baby and its a GIRL!!! I can't tell you how excited we all were when ClaraAnn came into the world. She looks so much like her older brothers and I'm in love!!

Best picture EVER!

So fun! These slides at the Pumpkin patch are the absolute best. Brecken was going down too!

I'm in love with these two.

It was hilarious watching these four in the back of the truck after the pumpkin patch. They had the best time. Playing with empty beer cans and all. Davis and Harper Robbins.

And they "helped" carve the most awesome pumpkin. :)

Molly at the Halloween parade. She is always camera ready.

I could take pictures of Isla ALL DAY!

Jackson was a police officer but he kind of looks like a mail carrier. Brecken a pirate and Carter is of course superman.

Little Liam just steals hearts. Look at him!

Blahahahahaa....Jack, Brecken, Liam, Caleb, Isla, Carter and my sweet Teagan!

My friend Michelle took these two GREAT pictures of little Brecken and I'm so thankful because I never got any!

Caleb looks so grown up here.

Treat-or-treat! This nice man asked us if the "adults" wanted any beverages. And next door we got hotdogs! I LOVE our neighborhood.

Jackson's class at school. They recited "The Five Little Pumpkins" for us. So So cute!

Montana Love

My beautiful Mom

My mother had gotten very ill and scared me enough to rush and buy a plane ticket to come see her. Luckily  in the end she just had a bad couple of weeks and had recovered  from all the yuck that was taking her life over. I went home for just a few days because I had decided not to take the boys with me. I was half excited but half sad I was going home without them. And I was disappointed I would not be able to have a few drinks while I was home too. My two sisters, Casi and Sherry, and my two nieces, Korri and Natalie, all greeted me at the airport. It was very warming to see them sitting there even though they were waiting for quite some time. I had a busy few days, but I ended up spending quality time with my sisters and my nieces. My mom had to work quite a bit while I was home so I ended up not seeing her as much as I would have liked but at least I saw she was just as well as she had been claiming over the phone.  My other sister, Lisa, and her husband, Alex, also came over to see me and her visit made me miss her immensely.  Even though my days were packed with visits, Pumpkin Sunday, and a birthday party, I still  met up with three of my girlfriends each night, and we talked and laughed until the wee hours of the morning. It was definitely something I have missed and don't get much of since living across the country. It was very odd having so much "free time", but I was still very busy and very tired. As always I was so excited to get back home and see Jack and Brecken.  However our reunion was not quite as I had hoped.

Aspen Marie! She just turned 2!

My angel, Natalie. Pictures do NOT do this little one justice! I love her to bits.

Possibly one of my favorite pictures of all time. Such a sweet mother, daughter picture.

Oh My Gosh she is a doll!

My gorgeous sisters, Lisa and Sherry and my  Natalie. I love them all so much!

Lisa, Alex and Anna (their 16-year-old daughter)

LeeAnne and her "BOMB" burrito. This is what LeeAnne was eating when she first met Kevin. He will always remember her like this. :)

Ryder proposed to me at Anthony''s (Marie's son's) 6th birthday party! This ring was out of the vending machine there. He is a bargain shopper.

LeeAnne's little man Brody. He has such a sweet personality. Loved getting to spend so much time with him.

Love this!!

My niece Maygan is always so wonderful and sweet. Here is she on Pumpkin Sunday!

The birthday boy Anthony and his pumpkin that he painted on Pumpkin Sunday.

Me and Kordelly

My favorite family. My sister Casi, Korri, Aspen, Maygan and Kordell.  I love this picture so much!

PUMPKIN SUNDAY!

Give me a break

Do you ever feel like you just need a break? A break from reality. A break from everyone.  The past few weeks I have been juggling with this feeling. Needing a break. And why? I can't really tell you. My kids are just being 3 and 1, but when I am trying to be a wife, friend and good a mom it's hard. It is hard because in a matter of 10 minutes it is the 7th time I have taken Brecken off the top of the kitchen table and have found several pieces poop toilet paper around the house because Jackson can wipe all by himself but he doesn't necessary leave it in toilet or the bathroom nonetheless.  Lately I have felt like I haven't been good at anything. Especially mothering. I have had the tightening in my throat too many times to mention these past few weeks, and when Kevin of course takes the kids out of the house to the park or to run errands without me I really do miss them. Why is it that I need a break so badly when I can't stand to be away from those two little men in my life? Balance. I know this is my answer, but why am I so lopsided lately?

The top 3 reasons Brecken and Jackson keep us on our toes.
#1.  Electrical outlets. Since I have found the curling iron plugged in I have also found various other things stuck in there. Most recently the phone side of a cell phone charger. What on earth happened to my "child proof outlets!!"
#2.  Standing on and jumping off the furniture. Brecken has mastered everything. The sofa, beds, the kitchen table (he recently sprained his foot by jumping off), toilets...absolutely everything. He climbs up the side of the stair case and I have caught him sitting INSIDE the bathrooms sinks. Both of them. The gate at the bottom of the stairs has finally been removed because Brecken just tosses it to the side since he know how to open it. Brecken is possibly one of the most active children I have ever been around. My friend Jackie was sweet enough to watch the boys one afternoon while I was out of town and she could not believe how actively he climbed on EVERYTHING. Maybe she won't be so eager to help me out next time. :)
#3. Brecken can now open some doors and child proof cabinets and Jackson has mastered the gate outside. I don't need to explain myself here.

And most of you who read my blog already know that we are expecting baby number 3! Such a surprise, and it took me a little while to warm up to the idea.  But now I can report that I'm very excited to be growing our family and making our lives just that much more interesting for a few more years.

He looks innocent enough.

You see...Jackson is hitting Breck with a Bigger than life stick!!

Wow...

My life.
