Ocean Isle 2013

The view from our Condo!

Looking back on all these pictures makes me smile. Everyone was so happy. The weather was perfect, and I miss being there. However, it was not all glam at the beach this year. There were biting flies EVERY day on the beach. The more stuff you brought to the beach, the more they swarmed you. We had this exact thing happen a few years ago with the Hodson's. Its incredibly disappointing. But we toughed it out for the most part, and Kyle was the only one who got bit so bad that he actually bled.

Jackson and Brecken love the beach more and more each year we go. I know we have to go more often, even if we just take a few day trips because it is only 3 1/2 hours to the beach! But with busy schedules in the summer it is hard to get there. Hopefully this year we will be able to squeeze one more in.

My beautiful family!

We love going on vacation with this family. Everything is just easy. And that is how a vacation should be.

Playing with Aunt Leah!

I seriously LOVE this picture so much. Kevin is really a lot of fun with the kids.

Leah holding baby Holden! And Landon...He LOVES the water more than anyone I have ever seen.

Oh there is baby Holden. You wouldn't have even known there was a baby on the trip because I don't think he said a word.

I love the complete joy on these faces.

Uh Oh! Hopefully there were no ladies on the beach to see Jack in his undies!

Where are Jackson's legs??!!

Landon is one cool dude in his glasses!
Kyle had to stay in the tent with baby Holden so the flies wouldn't get them. :)

Absolute pure joy.

Kevin's monster catch!! He even scaled it and fileted it right up for Kyle and himself.

Brecken's hair is wild. I love that it is sticking out on both sides here.

I'm loving the panoramic view on my camera!

Best picture of the trip.

Someone looks really relaxed on the car ride home.

Summer 2013 Wrap-up

Davis turned 4!! His birthday party was beyond awesome! They had arcade, mini golf, go karts and bumper boats!

But I think Kevin had the most fun!

Gas powered go karts! He was awesome.

Cuties...All three of them.

Ham bone Brecken.

LOVE!! This was for Richard's Birthday.

We are at one of the many visits we may to the Nature Museum. We LOVE this place.

Our sweet little Caleb and Liam came with us. Everything is more fun with friends!

This is before we went to Bruno Mars! It was a memorable night for sure!

Lazy Bums.

Here is Brecken "loving" on the rabbit...right before he threw it. :(

Pretending like he is eating the animal food.

The baby goats were so cute!

Molly being so gentle with the bunnies.
Jack is the big man on the farm.

They never got tired of chasing the ducks.
What animal is Brecken petting??? Snuffleupagus?

Uptown outing to the library!

So we went to a park...and they had a slash ground and we had NO swimsuits AND they wouldn't listen to me and got in the water anyway. It was a cold walk back to the car and one frustrated mommy.

Love that Brecken is so animated.

I love this picture of Brecken and Daddy. I think we were looking at the giraffes?

We had a serious photo shoot here. Brecken has just decided he likes going to school. It only took 3 months of CRYING every day at drop off.
Jackson said "Look Mom! It's Spongebob!" :)

I forget what this little snake thing was called....but it was so weird!

Yes, again with the snakes.

My beautiful Nephew Kordell on the first day of High School!

Jackson and Lilly playing soccer! They are some serious cuties. Maybe they'll get married.

Jackie had set up a play date to put our babies work in an art show! It was really fun.

Here they are working away!

This is my favorite picture. They worked SO hard!!

I love this memory.

Jackson's is on the top and Brecken's is on the bottom.
Jack named his art work Happy New Year and Brecken named his Ball.

Everyone's Art Work!!
The girl behind Jackson is Mary and she won an honorable mention for her piece. It really was absolutely amazing what she put together. We really had some talented little people on our hands.
